What do we stand for?
The Bible
We know that "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteous:" - 2 Timothy 3:16. We further know it to be true that the Bible is without any errors and is our sole authority for all matters of faith and practice. We also know that the Holy Bible is NOT open to interpretation. The Bible is God's communication to us. To understand the Bible you must have it's author (the Holy Spirit) living on the inside of your heart. We believe whatever the Bible says is true.

The Holy Trinity

We believe what the Bible tells us about the Holy Trinity. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and all three persons of the Godhead are fully God. "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." - 1 John 5:7

Creation

We believe the Bible's claim that God created the earth and the entire universe in six literal 24 hour days as recorded in the Book of Genesis. "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." - Genesis 1:1

The Depravity of Man

We believe the Bible's claim that man is born with a sin nature inherited from Adam, that every human being is a sinner, and bound for death. "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin: so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" - Romans 5:12

The Deity of Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and has always been. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God." - John 1:1-2 We further believe that Jesus Christ's earthly existence began when he was begotten by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, and lived a perfect, sinless life. He was fully God, yet fully man. "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." - John 1:14

We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross for all our sins. He died, was buried, and bodily arose from the grave. He ascended back to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God. "Who being in the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high." - Hebrews 1:3

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, plus nothing, minus nothing. Man cannot work his way into heaven, nor live good enough to merit entrance into heaven. Salvation is a gift from God and must be received by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" "Not of works, lest any man should boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9

We further believe that when a person puts faith in, and relies upon the blood of Jesus Christ for salvation, they are born again and are immediately indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God. Jesus said in John 14:16-17 - "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever:" "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him: for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you."

The presence of the Holy Spirit in a person is evidenced by godly living according to Titus 2:11-12 - "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men," "Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in the present world:"

We further believe once saved, always saved. The act of faith in Christ, and the grace of God is a permanent transaction. Jesus said in John 5:24 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believe on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation: but is passed from death unto life." And we are kept by the power of God according to 1 Peter 1:5.

We believe that once a person has been born again, they should be baptized by immersion, join a local, Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church, be a witness for Jesus Christ, and live and serve the Lord faithfully according to the great commission in Matthew 28:19-20.

The Return of Jesus Christ

We believe in the physical, pre-tribulation return of Jesus Christ in the air to rapture out the believers according to 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-57, and Revelation 4:1. Furthermore, we believe that there will be 7 years of the Great Tribulation upon the earth, the Judgment Seat of Christ in Heaven for the believers, followed by the physical return of Jesus Christ to the earth to set up His Kingdom for 1,000 years. Revelation 6-18, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 19:11-16, Revelation 20:1-6

Eternity

We believe that God created man a living soul, "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." - Genesis 2:7 Furthermore, we believe that the saved will spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord, (Revelation 21:1-7) and the unsaved will be cast into a literal, burning, Lake of Fire to suffer torment forever as punishment from a Holy God. (Matthew 7:21-23, Revelation 21:8)

"I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me."
